Patagonia Capilene Expedition Weight Hiking Crew Socks - 2005
When temps drop into the realm of frigid, you need to bring out the big guns. Such are Patagonia's Capilene Expedition Weight Hiking Crew socks. They are the warmest socks that Patagonia makes for mountaineering, climbing, and backpacking in cold weather. Constructed primarily with merino wool that provides expedition weight warmth with half the bulk of other synthetics, these socks also do a great job at controlling moisture. A felted foot bed adds cushion and insulation, and lasts the lifetime of the sock. Patagonia's innovative, rib-cuff design is non-restrictive and prevents socks from sloughing into boots. Flex zones in the toe box and ankle allow for a natural, non-bunching flex.
Bottom Line: Keep your toes happy (keep your toes period!) with a pair of Expedition Weight Hiking Crew socks.
