Paha Que Pamo Valley Family Camping Tent 6-Person 3-Season - 2006

The Paha Qué Pamo Valley is a spacious camping tent that can sleep the whole family (up to 6; 4 adults for maximum comfort), and comes equipped with features to make your camping experience organized & comfortable. The 3+ season Pamo Valley Tent is made with 100% high-tenacity nylon and the strongest floor material available – 6.5oz denier Oxford. It weighs just under 30 lbs, and is easily stored in its own oversized carrying bag with adjustable shoulder strap for easy transport. The little extras that make this tent so special include: A mesh GEAR LOFT that suspends from the roof, still affording campers more than 6' of head room; GEAR SLINGS under each window that keep stuff off the floor and provide quick access to gear from *outside* the tent (very handy!); and a full-protection, removable RAINFLY that provides the best in weather-proofing technology. Quick to set up with easy to follow instructions sewn right inside the carrying bag.

Bottom Line: Paha Qué designed the Pamo Valley Tent to be organized, easy to set-up, & super spacious. Car camping will never be the same!

Paha Que Pamo Valley

This is a very comfortable tent with lots of ventilation. It is easy to set up, especially considering the size! I would suggest setting it up the first time before going on a trip; the first set up is difficult since the poles do bend a little the first few times the tent is put up. Once the poles are set, the set up is much easier. We had plenty of room for a queen-size air mattress and all of our gear. I would highly recommend this tent!

Size does matter

I have camped, car or backpack, for years. Usually I have a small easy to carry tent. I had the opportunity to use this tent for a river rafting trip. I chose to go for it since I would most likely be changing from wet to dry clothing; I wanted plenty of room for this activity. This tent was a dream for me. Never have I been in a tent, other than those big military tents, where I couldn't touch the top. I didn't use the air mattress sleeves, but they look useful. The gear loft in the top is the best I have ever seen, and easy to install - clips in. Having outside access under the windows was cool too. Several times I forgot something in the tent and didn't want to take my shoes off to get the items, and it is great to stick your head out while brushing your teeth. The ventilation is incredible. There is so much room in this thing. My wife packs too much on trips, to the point that there is no reason to lock the house since it is all with us. Often the tent is crammed with junk. Even with all our stuff we still had tons of room. I used a 10 by 20 tarp and folded it in half for a ground cloth. On top of all the grandeur of this tent one of the best selling points to me is how easy it is to set up. I did it myself in maybe five minutes. It is actually easier for me to set it up on my own than have someone help. The only downsides are, the sheer height doesn't go easily under trees and the size of the bag when packed is big - it is not annoying but you gotta remember my little sedan can only hold so much, and my wife already had it stacked.

Awesome Tent!

I just got back from a week-long camping trip. My Pamo Valley tent was spacious with great headroom. It kept us dry and had excellent ventilation. It is also a very well-made tent, because the last night a storm came up quickly with some big-time wind. One gust actually pulled the tent off the ground with me in it and me and the tent landed about 15 feet from the original location (yes, it was staked down with 4 guy-lines and 8 stakes). The tent appears to have taken no damage from this incident. I highly recommend this tent, and I'm trying now to learn more about properly staking it down!
