I heard from the ZDnet Review (http://reviews.cnet.com/cases-bags/pacsafe-couriersafe-100/4505-19214_7-32600951.html?tag=api&subj=re) that the front flap closes via a long, velcro strap. Given a quiet classroom or library situation, would this pose a problem? The bag I have now essentially clicks shut and doesn't make a sound if I open it up during lecture.

I'm always worried about getting a bulky laptop case/bag. This bag is just the right shape and size. Its got alot of room on the inside, TONS of little padded pockets, and well padded laptop section - big enough for a 17" probably (I only have a 14"). Its pretty water proof/resistant, and zips up tight so I don't have to worry about water or rain. The locking strap is great too, good peace of mind.

Well, where there's a will, there's a way. Just be smart about it, don't leave it out of your sight, especially if you have valuables inside. That way, when you see someone with a wirecutter coming towards your bag, do some karate-chop on the crooks.

With all of the new products coming into the warehouse right now, I imagine it'd take Backcountry's in-house photo studio a while to get some more detailed shots of the bag. Also, the manufacturer doesn't seem to provide any detailed shots either.The handle on this bag looks perfectly sized to hook around a rolling carry-on bag, but your mileage may vary.While photos are cool and all, it's better to see and handle the product for yourself. With Backcountry's amazingly generous return policy, I'd recommend ordering the bag, seeing how it would work with your carry-on, and if it doesn't work just return it. No hassles, no worries, it's easy.
