Is this water proof?

Katharina,P.O. offers a water repellent finish on their mats. They actually submerse each mat under water to test them before they hit the shelves. Just make sure its dry before storing.------------------Water can't get through the foam anyway. If you end up in a puddle from your leaky tent, it won't come up through the pad (this actually happened to me).
