Constructed to endure the rigors of the outdoors, the prAna Sonora is built from durable, tightly woven cotton canvas that is brushed for softness. The slim fitting waist and straight cut legs offer ultra classic styling. Comfortable Yet Durable

These shorts are extremely comfortable and allow for a full range of movement, but at the same time are extremely durable and can take a beating. They look great while climbing or good if you want to just wear them around town.

Great, but pricey

I can't see paying $48 for these shorts - so I didn't. They were clearing them out depending on color. Anyway, I use these shorts for everyday use and climbing. Fit is good, though an inch or so too long if you ask me. Movement isn't restricted and they feel like they will stand up to quite a bit. I bought every color on sale.

Back for 2nd Pair

These are great britches, very nicely proportioned and tailored. I consider them well worth the steep price. The fabric is dense and soft but, because it's cotton, cool. The best part about them is how the the integral belt provides an exceptionally neat, comfortable fit at the waist. On the recommendation of another reviewer here, I did choose black for my first pair, and I love it. Today ordering the steel.
