Zip up the Patagonia Women’s Micro Puff Jacket whether you’re touring the backcountry or ice climbing. This versatile Patagonia jacket can be worn alone or as a layer when the mercury really drops. Patagonia treated both the recycled polyester shell and lining with Deluge DWR for maximum, long-lasting water repellency. Weighing in at just 15oz, the Patagonia Micro Puff Jacket keeps you warm without the bulk and compresses easily into its own stuff sack. Pull up the DWR-coated front zipper that blocks the wind thanks to a non-snag windflap standing guard. Quilted Climashield insulation prevents clumping and separation while the quilted side panels provide a more feminine cut. *Stuff sack included.
Bottom Line: Let winter huff and puff all it wants—you’re covered.
Nothing beats patagonia's micro puff line for warmth and compactability. I was interested in this jacket because it didn't have a hood and because the white sounded uber chic. However, it is not really white. As with many of the lighter colored micro puff jackets, it has a fine checkerboard pattern which is in a teal green so the jacket actually has a light green cast to it...not at all flattering for my skin tone. If it was pure white, I'd have loved it. Wish they'd lose that checkerboard pattern!
Does anyone know how the sizing is like for this jacket? The reviews for the mens version mention it is a bit on the big side. Is this true for the women's version, or does this fit more true to size?
I already had a MicroPuff Vest and it was stellar. I was looking for something exactly the same with sleeves, and this is it. It is extremely warm without the bulk of down, and when it gets to hot it seems to wick better than down. Paired with a Patagonia hard shell there is nothing else to have - Patagonia seems to have perfected minimum weight for maximum warm. My only fear is that I will wear it too much and my other jackets will be jealous!
