Overall, an improvement

Some really nice new features like a covered laptop compartment and zippered end pocket, zippered back pocket, and improved shoulder strap. Warning: this is a big bag. Will hold a lot of stuff. I've written a detailed review with additional pictures on my blog: PatagoniaCommunity.blogspot.com

I am curious as to just HOW big this bag is... I am debating between this and the half mass. Will be using as a carry-on for business travel for myself and my boss as well as everyday business/meeting work.

A pretty nice (giant) messenger bag. I could never get it to fit well, particularly as a left hander. When on my right shoulder, the strap adjuster continually dug into my back. Might work better if you wear on the opposite shoulder. Too bad, it's a nice bag, apart from the strap.
