The Patagonia Men's Micro Puff Vest is a portable heater for your body. Patagonia packed lightweight synthetic insulation into this windproof, water-resistant vest. Wear the regular-fit Micro Puff Vest as a shell on windy days or a midlayer underneath a waterproof shell on snowy ones. Took it to White Pass between US and Canadian borders.. made snow caves in about 15 degree weather... great insulator.. never took it off even slept in it... lightweight and confortable

as far as vests go, this is the only one that has kept me warm. I originally had the Patagonia Down Vest but it did me little good. surprisingly, this vest kept me very warm. very light, packable, handy
