Patagonia Critical Mass Bag - 2007

Get a 15-minute delivery across downtown, or just pedal your bike to work with the Patagonia Critical Mass Messenger Bag. This large bag makes it easy to carry work clothes and rain gear on your commute. Reflective tabs add a little protection from cars in case you end up working late. Patagonia padded the back of the Critical Mass Bag, lending it structure and comfort while protecting your laptop. Keep you MP3 player in the pocket on the top flap for easy access while riding. Patagonia's T-strap design keeps the Critical Mass Messenger Bag close to your body by running a small piece of webbing from the shoulder strap to the bag's side. Don't worry if you think the size is too big, this bag function as well half-full as it does filled to the gills.

Bottom Line: Get your gear across the city in the generously-sized Patagonia Critical Mass Messenger Bag.

massive

This bag is way too big and floppy. Can't really see what you would use it for. I purchased it as a carry-on, Filled it was stupidly large. It doesn't hold computer, or other items well. If you don't fill it, it just looks awkwardly droppy.

very spacious bag

This is definitely not a bag you want to carry your stuff in on the bike unless you are over 6ft. tall. The strap is not adjustable & it is hard to fit it on your back. Other than that it is very good for a weekend/long weekend getaway & as a carry-on in the plane.

Unbelievably bad strap design

By:
January 31, 2007

This bag would be perfect, if they hadn't completely blown the strap design. I don't know what Patagonia was thinking, but the strap can't be made short enough for the bag to sit correctly while biking (unless you're really, really tall). Everything else about the bag is great, but the strap issue made it unusable for me - I sent it back and bought a chrome metropolis instead.

HUGE Bag

By:

This bag is massive you must be 6.5 with superman shoulders to carry it. Most humans of average size just look silly with it.
