Patagonia Capilene 2 Bottoms - Women's - 2006

Patagonia made the Women's Capilene 2 Bottoms with a knit Capilene fabric for maximum breathability. Wear this base layer under your rain or ski pants on cool days. These midweight bottoms have a gusseted crotch for mobility and a brushed waistband for softness. Patagonia gave the Capilene 2 Bottoms a contoured, feminine fit, and made them with flat seams for easy layering under fleece or hardshell pants.

Bottom Line: The Patagonia Capilene 2 Bottoms add just the right amount of insulation to your hardshell pants for a cold day in the mountains.

I wear these while camping - both for sleeping and under my hiking pants during the day when it's cold and they've been great. I've also used them for cross-country skiing under waterproof outerwear. Very breathable and no lumpy seams.

A little too big, but comfy

By:

I bought a large, I'm a women's size 10, and the size is far too big to wear under any normal fitting pants, I will have to wear them under pants that are at least a size too big. But they are comfy to sleep in too!

best longies

Capilene 2 - midweight- is the most versatile thermal pant. I rarely get too warm or too cold in the legs on any given ski day. Fit true to size. For a second-skin fit I ordered one pair a size down so the thermals can work under jeans and khakis too.

These are light and not that warm, but are great when it isn't too cold. The waist is a bit high and tight though.

Nice.

Definately recommend these guys. The color is good and they are not super tight. Great to sleep in while camping or to wear under pants on cold days.

Great Base layer pants!

I wear these all time. Layered under jeans for extra warmth, under a skirt, shorts for hiking, or by themselves to sleep. The are breathable and don't make you sweat. The color (I bought the blue) is really nice as well.

i love these leggings because the material is super breathable! the fit isn't the best though, kinda baggy through the butt and comes up pretty high on the waist.

I bought these pants for my girlfriend, and she absolutely loves them. Wear them alone, or under the Mountain Hardwear stretch fleece pants when it's really cold
