Patagonia Bucket Hat - 2007

Patagonia's Bucket Hat is universally classic and stylish. Patagonia made this lightweight hat from fast-drying, crushable 100% nylon; you can man-overboard with it, then wring it out, and throw it back on for more sun protection. There's a pocket stealthily located inside the top of the hat; store your secret documents in there, or roll the hat up into itself when you aren't wearing it.

Bottom Line: It's called the Bucket Hat, but it looks a lot better than a fishing pail on your head.

Nice hat, but didn't fit

I ordered both the chalk blue and beach wood to see which color I liked, and I liked both colors. The hats were light and felt like good fabric. Unfortunately, although I ordered the large sizes, they didn't fit me. I guess my head's too big. I usually wear a 7 1/4 or sometimes bigger, depending on my hairstyle. My current hairstyle is buzz cut, so I was surprised that the large fit my head so tightly.

This hat is one of the best breathing hats I've purchased. Unlike other brands this hat vents and breaths very well. Great fit and great material
