Outdoor Research StormTracker Glove

Cold, dry touring conditions don’t demand huge insulated mitts—they ask politely for the Outdoor Research StormTracker Glove. This Gore WindStopper Soft Shell glove gives you both protection from cold conditions and dexterity for the myriad tasks of alpine touring. Whether you’re adjusting a finicky skin, repairing a busted buckle, or just rooting in your pack for an elusive energy bar, the StormTracker’s low-profile, stretchy shell and full leather palm will keep your hands happy until you reach the summit.

Bottom Line: Get your hands on track.

great gloves

I'm really into these govles. I've had a couple of pairs now and use them mostly for ice climbing and spring skiing. They are great gloves for leading ice, but on cold days bring a warmer pair for belays. These gloves offer excellent dexterity and are quite durable. Best to put some leather conditioner on the palms as it will help with keeping your hands dry and durability. If you need dexterity you can't go wrong with these gloves

looks like a great glove but men's sizing won't work for women

Looks like a great glove for skinning and climbing. I bought them for my girlfriend who says she's got small hands, I bought a unisex/men's small, too large though, she tried on some other OR women's med. gloves and they fit great so we unfortunately had to return them, thankfully backcountry is great about working with you on any issues with the items they sell.
