I was skeptical about these gloves being truly waterproof in "spring mountaineering" conditions, but they performed brilliantly. I spent a weekend wearing them in sloppy wet snow conditions practicing self-arrest, building anchors, snow camping, etc. and my hands stayed dry and comfortable.

I've had a hard time finding a pair of gloves that are pleasant to look at, yet are warm, comfortable, stylish, and not super bulky. The Prophet Gloves are the answer. They are terrific for everyday wear and nubile enough to use while driving or trying to get change from my pocket. A big thumbs up to Outdoor Research for this pair of gloves.

I really do like these gloves. They are warm for not being bulky. You could wear a liner to stay extra warm on those cold days. Really waterproof but yet breathable if you are hiking or a bit warm and sweaty. They fit true to size of what glove size you normally wear. I wear mediums and the mediums fit well. I could go small if I wanted them to be more fitted to my hand.

The gloves fit very well. Great for walking, hiking in the chilly weather when you need to be able to use your hands. Also great for driving.
