Outdoor Research Primovolta Heated Glove - Men's - 2008

Tired of your digits going numb after only a few runs? Pull on the Outdoor Research Men’s Primovolta Heated Glove, and enjoy the warmth of a rechargeable heating element with the waterproof breathable protection of Gore-Tex. The Primovolta’s Aevex Intelligent Heat insulation regulates heat output based on conditions, so you’ll never have to cut another day short due to cold weather. Flip on the switch, cinch up the drawcord gauntlet, and grip your poles with the leather palms. The durably waterproof Gore-Tex membrane blocks moisture, and the tricot lining comforts your hands until the lifts close. Outdoor Research included a charger to keep your Primovolta gloves ready for tomorrow’s dawn patrol.

Bottom Line: Like a waterproof space heater for your hands.

My husband has raynaud's disease and his fingers turn blue

My husband has raynaud's disease and his fingers turn blue and are very painful. Will these gloves help? Does the heater cover the entire surface of the glove including every finger? If they don't work for him will we be able to return them? I'd like to find something that will keep him on the mountian. Thanks.

Well I'm not sure of the extent of your husbands disease, but it should most certainly help him more than any other normal glove. And yes, if they don't work you can send them back for a full refund. You will however have to pay to have them shipped back.

I'm a farmer and diabetic, will these gloves keep the fingers

You should be good to go when the temps get down to -20. These gloves hold up well against about every type of terrain so mud, dirt, general farming use shouldn't throw a curve in the wind row. The number of times they can be recharged depends on a few things. If you charge them up when they're only 1/2 depleted it will shorten the battery life. But if you totally deplete them and charge them fully you should be able to get several years out of that battery pack. The guarantee is the best with Backcountry.com. You could have these gloves for 30 years and if you're not happy with them you'll get a full refund. I can definitely vouch for their standing behind the products they sell.Hope that helps.
