Outdoor Research Index Rope Bag - 2007

The Outdoor Research Index Rope Bag keeps your rope out of the dirt and makes it easy to move from route to route when you're at the crag. The Index Rope Bag is made from water-resistant 500D Cordura and opens up to form a tarp with two tie-in points for your rope. Drop your 60m rope, quickdraws, and rock shoes into this Outdoor Research bag and cinch it shut. Two backpack straps allow easy carrying to your next pitch. 90% Rope bag ...

This bag has little ability to be anything but a rope bag. I can hook all my sport climbing gear to the chain on the front of the bag. The main compartment mainly functions as only a rope bag - you might be able to roll some draws up in with the rope, but the design of the bag allows little of anything other than the rope, however, I did buy this for my rope, so I am very pleased with it. The straps could use a bit more padding, but this is an overall great rope bag. Caution though, the tarp is attached to the bag on one side, so when using your rope, the bag will sit on the ground. But as I said, if you buy this for a rope bag, you will be pleased.
