Outdoor Research made the Helium Quick Sacks with ultralight silnylon fabric to save pack weight and help keep your gear dry. Whether you use the Helium Quick Sacks to store your spare socks or your sleeping bag, you can be sure that you won't notice the extra heft when you shoulder your pack. Not bombproof, but...

After several months of use (and probably overpacking), the stitched lid tore off. I sent it back to OR, and they sent me a brand new one about a month later. Thanks OR!

I have a Western Mountaineering 20deg down sleeping bag, and have lost the stuff sack. What size of the OR Helium Quick sack should I buy to fit the bag?

I'd say get the [1], try it out, and if it's too small, get the [2].

I'd also get a dry+compression bag to be sure it didn't get wet and to compress it smaller than you can with a cinch cord.

It's a stuff sack. They are pretty darn water resistant. The handle on the back is a nice touch, but I have torn one where it attaches. Personally I like the granite gear cordura ones a little better.

Price isn't bad either. Nice and lightweight. Pack small when not in use. Very thin but they seem pretty strong.
