My wife has been wanting new gloves -- that are thin but also warm. She also requested brown if available. I was happy to find these after looking for a while. She couldn't be happier with them.

These are my top pick in approach gloves. They are wind resistant and have a great pad on the palm that protects from the wear and tear of crampons and ice screws.

Great functional all rounders

Like all OR gloves. these ones fit my hands really well...which is key for a glove that is designed for "doing" things in! Not only are these great for hiking and approaching in, but they keep your hands warm while you are tying your shoe laces, racking your harness, or fumbling through your pack. I'm going to get a lot of use out of these!
