Osprey Packs Revo Daypack - 1300cu in - 2008

Not only does the Revo Daypack handle anything from a day in class to a day on the trail, but Osprey made it with recycled PET fabric so it's easy on the environment. The slim shape holds just enough books for a morning on campus and just enough extra clothes and water for an afternoon hike. Osprey gave the Revo Daypack a convenient shoulder-strap pocket to keep your MP3 player within easy reach when you feel like adding a soundtrack to your activities.

Bottom Line: Hit the books or the trails with the Osprey Revo Daypack.

Osprey does it right

By:
September 26, 2008

Used this pack to stow camera and rain gear, snacks, water, odds and ends I think I need, and a few things for layering while kicking around Peru for 2 weeks. Comfortable and seems durable enough....the only criticism I have and the only reason for 4 stars is I'd like to see Osprey make it waterproof. I NikWaxed it and it did ok in light mist and short showers. Anything heavier would have been a problem. Excellent pack!

This backpack is excellent for city conditions. I purchased it for my self and loved it. It has enough compartments and pockets for everything I need. Its made of environmentally friendly recycled materials, which is a huge plus, and I got one for my daughter, she loves it too.

Would this backpack be suitable for a second grader or is it

Would this backpack be suitable for a second grader or is it a little too large? Also I can't tell but are those side pockets for water bottles, etc?

I bought it for my first grader and it is perfect. Slightly large but given the future needs seems perfect. The outer/front pocket is perfect for his lunch and the inner laptop area for his folders and room to push a sweatshirt in. The side pockets work well for water bottles ad also tennis/baseballs! He loves it and hopefully I am good for the next 5 years!

i think it would be good. it will be large for your kid, but second graders grow alot. Having a nice, durable pack for a growing kid is always a good idea too.

Great pack

By:
July 11, 2008

This is a great day pack. It's light weight non-technical but offers plenty of pockets for organizing. It was just a little too small for taking on a long trip so I returned it for the Osprey React which has a bit more room without being too large. Both are great packs...just depends how much room you need.

For what type of pack this is, it is pretty pricey. But, if there is any reason why this pack is so expensive, its because you are getting the quality gear that Osprey makes. This pack is going to be an extremely durable pack that is going to have a lot more room then one would think. If you are looking for another great, more technical day pack. Check out the Talon 11. It is currently in stock and is a great technical day pack!!!It's not that expensive for what you're getting!
