Osprey Packs Goat Logo UL Raincover - 2009

Unless you like finding that your spare socks are soaked and your sleeping bag feels like it's full of pancake batter, cover your pack with the Osprey Goat Logo UL Raincover when the storm cuts loose. This four-ounce waterproof cover comes in four sizes to precisely fit your bag and has the backcountry.com logo on its front. Osprey designed the UL Raincover to stuff into its own pocket when the sky clears.

Bottom Line: For goat-loving backpackers who like dry gear.

Torrential Rain No Problem

By:
October 24, 2009

I spend a bit of time in the Uinta's this summer with my brothers and as people were high'tailin' it out we were headed in. Needless to say this rain cover came in extremely handy. My pack stayed completely dry and that's saying a lot seeing as how we spent hours and hours in a row, for days, hanging out in the rain. They pack down well but there is plenty of space. You could probably size down a little although I use the Argon 110 from Osprey and there was maybe a little bit of wiggle room. I don't leave home without it:)

Yeah, the Large size is what you would want for your Argon 85. Good call with picking one up. I need to get one for my Osprey packs.

Two major storms

By:
June 16, 2009

Five days on the AT, two major storms on two separate days with rain blowing sideways. I cinched the shock cord tight on this new cover and my Osprey Atmos 65 pack stayed dry! Pack cover folds neatly in its own little built-in bag and stores easily!

big

By:
August 12, 2009

so I asked before buying this if a Large would cover a 4500 cu in bag since it says 3600+ (pretty vague), it'd probably cover the biggest back pack ever made, this cover is huge. The size is a little misleading I would have gotten a med. if I would have known, but it's a good cover, does what it's suppose to and folds down fairly small.

Extremely light, packs into it's own case, great price and keeps it dry. What more can you want.
