Ortovox Polar Shovel - 2007

Don't pigeonhole the Ortovox Polar Shovel—this thing wants to explore the world outside of your backcountry ski pack. On your summer holiday, bring this avie shovel to the beach and wow all the snot-nosed kids with your sand-diggin' prowess—the long handle, T-grip handle, and Lexan blade means you can move serious amounts of sand. Or stash this lightweight and compact Ortovox shovel in your trunk when you're on the road. When you run out of gas, the Polar's bright-ass orange color comes in handy when you're trying to flag down cars.
