The Ortovox 240cm Economic Probe offers full functionality at an affordable price. If you ski in an area with a snowpack deeper than 240cm on a regular basis I recommend getting a longer length probe....

The best piece of gear I hope to never have to use - it goes in my pack and I forget about it. ...Unless the unthinkable happens, and then I prefer to be prepared. This light-weight and strong piece of equipment is what I want with me to locate a warm body in case of avalanche!
