Optimus Terra Cookset - 2007

The three-piece Optimus Terra Cookset includes two pots, a fry pan, and an insulated case that allows you to slow-cook food even after you shut off the stove. Optimus pulled out all the tricks to make this pot set only 23 ounces. The Terra Cookset's fry pan doubles as a lid and can be used with either pot. Optimus also included an ultralight pot grabber. Add up the fuel you'll save with this set of pots, and you can shave lots of pack weight.

Bottom Line: Cook more efficiently on your camping trips with the Optimus Terra Cookset.

I have been using this setup for 4 months now.....absolutely no complaints. Packs great, light, internal space for food or a stove once packed up. Cleans up well, and the pot grabber works quite well.....the carry sack also works great as warmer. i was skeptical at first, but it kept my soup nice and hot while i finished up some other cooking. For the price, this setup cannot be beat....(best for 1-2 people, possibly 3 for a light meal plan)

how hard is it to clean? some stews can make a nasty mess of the bottom of the pans... Not to mention cleaning in a fresh spring stream can be a little trying on the hands. I'd rather not be spending 20 mins scrubbing the thing to get it clean.

The non-stick Teflon coating shouldn't give you any problems unless you let things dry on it. I'd avoid washing it in the fresh spring stream, however, just for politeness' sake to nature and other people on the trail. Just thought I'd throw that in there.
