I just bought some of these sandals and ended up getting them a size larger. I usually wear a 6 1/2 or 7 and bought an 8. I like flip flops a little larger so my toes or heel doesn't hit the edge. Up to you but I would at least get the 7.

not your average flip flop

The built in arch is soft yet supports your foot, I have a medium high arch and these are great. I like the small bumps in the sole that seem to massage your foot when walking around no matter how hot it gets. I also wore these riding my bike around Coronado, Ca and these were very comfortable.
