Great boat for cruising around on flat rivers or lakes, even on the coastline. Space in middle for your dog is cool, except for when they try to jump out and knock you off balance.
This boat is really durable, affordable and a great starter boat.

We use this kayak on the coast of NC and it has been great for learning the basics of paddling. Whether you enjoy a calm day of fishing in the sound or a choppy ride on the ocean, this kayak can fit the bill. The design is great for 1 or 2 people and is very comfortable for longer trips. It is fairly lightweight, but definitely requires 2 people for transport. I've been amazed at how it performs on rough days in the ocean, but I have to admit I found out the hard way that it's heavy enough to give a concussion when flipped.
