Will this product work for some older Acadia kayaks? Have 2

Will this product work for some older Acadia kayaks? Have 2 that need upgrading on the backrests. Also have 2 ocean kayaks that need such upgrading as well. Seems like I mostly find backrests for sit on top kayaks. Any ideas? Thanks.
