Oboz Ignition Trail Running Shoe - Men's - 2008

From grassy meadows to scree-covered slopes, the Oboz Men's Ignition Trail Running Shoes take your feet there in comfort. These Oboz trail runners feature bootie construction (the tongue isn't separate), which gives you a snug fit and helps keep out trail debris. An underfoot TPU plate protects your soles from rocks, and a TPU heel clip provides stability without making the Ignitions rigid and uncomfortable. Dual-density midsoles on the Ignitions absorb impact and rebound your energy so you can run farther and longer. Grippy outsoles help you stay upright on rugged and muddy trails.

Bottom Line: Lace up the Oboz Ignition Trail Runners and feel the burn.

FIt like gloves!

By:

No kidding - they fit like my mechanics gloves. I've never had a pair of athletic-type shoes feel snug, not tight. I really enjoy them! reaqt support and they handle well on the beach trails that I cruise over. I should have bought two pair at this price. THe support is really nice, as well. All told, I'm surprised and pleased.

Very cool...

These will work, but they may feel a little snug until they are broken in.

Standing on a row of lingas on the Kbal Spean...

By:

These shoes are simply the best! Hiked all over Angkor and many temple sites in central Cambodia in my Oboz last month. Climbing up the trail to the Kbal Spean site, I felt like a local gecko, clinging to the rocks, treking over huge boulders through the humid rain - and this is after 18 months of regular use back home in the States! These shoes are just great!

Can you get another shipment of 13's in stock please?!!

I liked the innovative design of this shoe - a little hard to get on at first, but hugs the feet comfortably, and keeps all the trail gunk out pretty well. First time out on a relatively short run I got a blister on the arch of my left foot - but no problems since. There does seem to be a bit of a squeak when I walk in them - I think it is the lacing system - but this is minor and certainly not an issue on the trail. Over all a decent shoe that is a runner first and foremost with great foot support for the trail.

Great Trail Shoe

I took my pair out for a 5 mile run in the hills behind my house. I went through dirt, mud, snow, rocks, and paved roads. They handled all of them great. They were a little stiff on the paved road but chewed up the snow and cleared out the mud easily. I look forward to putting more miles in with these bad boys.
