I ordered the glasses late Wednesday afternoon and they were here on Friday morning. I received super fast service and a great product. I will definately be coming back to backcountry.com again.
The Oakley Thumps are awesome!

The Thumps are a cool concept, but if you scratch or damage the lenses, fuhhgetaboutit! Oakley makes owner replaceable lenses for every pair of sunglasses they sell EXCEPT the Thump. You have to send the WHOLE unit in for an undisclosed amount to replace the lenses and you don't even get the option to upgrade lens colors/types like polarized, iridium etc,. Buy the Thump 2 instead if you must have these. Less aggravation, and you don't feel like you have just been ripped off and wasted your hard earned money. This site, however, is still wonderful, as ever.

I recieved my Thump mp3 sunglasses 256mb for Christmas. I love them so much. I love being able to just put one ear plug down so I can hear traffic when I run on the streets. I can't wait to use them in the Carlsbad Marathon next week. I can't tell you how happy I am to not have to mess with wires any more! Everyone should have a pair.

I'd heard about these on a running forum and had to check them out. I wanted something to occupy my time during long runs (training for a Marathon). I'd tried several different mp3 player and headphone combinations, but the player was either unwieldy and the strap cut into my arm, or the wires from the phones would get tangled up, or the earbuds would get wet and fall out.

These are comfortable, light, and stay on through strenuous running. The flip-up feature is great for when I hit shady areas. And this site certainly gave me the best price I found by shopping around!

I've been using the Thump for about four weeks now. They have performed perfectly both as sunglasses and as player. I've used them on 20 to 80mile bicycle rides at speeds of 54+ mph. One ride down a mountain there was a very strong rain and the player never missed a beat. The glasses, however, did fog up a bit. It is very convenient that they can be lifted up without taking them off. I've also used them for mowing the lawn (I use a reel mower, so I work up quite a sweat!). I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a player that won't get in the way while doing outdoor activities.

Go ahead and buy these, if you want to look like a complete jackass on the road.

These sunglasses are awesome. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The sound out of these is unreal. They are light and fit nice.

Totally awesome shades!!! Never thought I would have sunglasses like these at the great sale price I got them for! They hold more songs than I can listen too and the sound is excellent.

The Oakley Thump's rule for biking and specifically road biking. It's the only MP3 player that I have seen that allows you to tilt the speakers away from your ears so you can hear both music and road noise. It's key so that you can listen to music and not die.
