The Oakley Stockholm Goggle doesn’t come with a bottle of Swedish vodka, nor does it smell like herring. Rather, this smoking hot ladies-specific goggle gives women the luscious fit they’ve been waiting for. Oakley sealed temperature-controlled air between two layers of anti-fog-treated polycarbonate lenses to reduce the chance of fog accumulating on your inner lens. Vented air circulates through the goggle to further reduce fog, and triple-layer foam with wicking fleece might make you think you’re wearing a spa mask. Total UV protection, the Stockholm’s excellent impact resistance, and a wide field of vision make this Oakley goggle an intelligent choice for your one-goggle quiver.
Bottom Line: The Oakley Stockholm Goggle gives your gear the ladies touch.
These goggles replaced an ancient pair that I'd had forever, and I wanted to get it right. No worries there. The specs say they're not eyeglass compatible, but they're just about the only goggle I found when trying on pair after pair that *did* fit over my glasses without squashing them into my face.Fit over my helmet no problem. The sticky band is a bit annoying when I'm trying to put my goggles up or down 'cause it takes both hands (which is annoying when trying to hold onto poles with the other hand), but I can see why it would be helpful for preventing slipping if that was a problem. They do fog up occasionally, but clear as soon as I start moving again, so I'm not too worried. With glasses underneath I expect some fogging of both glasses and goggles.
They also look great...I have a small face, and getting goggles that fit over my glasses and don't cover 2/3 of my face is a challenge...these are wonderful.
I am not a small person and my face is not small, but my 'UNISSEX" PAIR OF OAKLEY WISDOM GOGGLES NEVER SEEMED TO FIT MY FACE. They TEND TO GET FOGGY AND ALWAYS ON TOP OF MY HOOD! I decided to give it a shot and invest on these ones. Not only they are really shaped for womens faces but also they are more stylish! Try to fit them on your skin, not on top of the hood to avoid fogginess!
Hi Intensity means that it has an iriduim coating that does three things, increases contrast, makes the lens a little darker, and adds a reflective quality to the outside of the lens
I want to get a pair plus a replacement lense so I'm covered for bright and low light, what are the best lenses to go with? I like the G30 but the seem like the are best for mid conditions, I don't want to overlap too much since the are expensive. So, opinions? What are the fav's?
The HI Yellow is the perfect lens for low light conditions, form night to overcast to white out. The VR 50 Gold Iridium would be good for the brighter days.
I am a very small person with a very small face so it was a challenge to find a great pair of goggles that were not a child's goggle that fit my face. These do both, stylish yet small enough to fit my small face. I wore them for 11 days straight skiing all over Colorado and they were put through wind that blew so hard I was skiing in white outs to sunny days with no worries.
I bought the Khaki elevation frame with the G30 lens and I couldn't be happier. Changing the lens is super easy, as long as you start from the top. Super comfy, super cute and looks good with a big toque or a helmet (i have a smith Holt and there is no gap on the forehead :) )
This comes down to personal preference for most. I prefer a rose lens for all around though.Honestly, grab any pair off of SAC, tramdock, or WM...You can get "general" gogs for as little as $10!You won't find oakleys quite that cheap on whiskey, steepandcheap, and tramdock, but you will find some amazing deals. Like stated above, it's really personal preference. But if it helps, I like using the Persimmon lenses for an all around choice. And they run pretty cheap compared to some of the other ones you can buy from Oakley.
looks great, fits great on small faces, clip on back is great for putting them on easy, black iriduim looks great with minimal transparency, these goggles are...whats the word im looking for...
These are great goggles. As always, nice lenses. They fit well and are very easy to adjust. The style is nice too. They aren't as large as a lot of goggles these days and they're a bit squared off which is a nice touch. Backcountry.com carries replacement lenses too which is a plus. I'm really happy with these goggles!
They will fit, but I would get some of those clear sheets to peel off the lens after each ride so the lenses do not get all scratched up from dust/rocks/wiping. Also these have kind of a large vent on them which you may not want while mx due to dust getting in.
For the men the Crowbar, for the women the Stockholm. This is one of the best goggles on the market for female snowriders. The fit, the build quality, the(above average) lens change system, the price(when they are on sale !). All these things are in the Stockholms favour. My wife has had hers for 2 seasons and they are a permanent fixture in her kit locker. The only problem is Oakley will have the devils own job to significantly improve upon them. Highly recommended.
Goggles fit well, but little tight over the nose bridge. Nice ventilation/air flow. Oakley lenses are too expensive though. It's cheaper to buy multiple goggles than to buy 1 pair and replacement lenses.
Love the Oakley fit... I'm asian and a very small frame at that... Any other goggles look like i stepped out of Jupiter. Love the pink color it's very feminine ^^ It's easy to clean up. No fogging. Only thing i don't like is that the clip gets caught in my wonderful tresses. But overall it's an awesome buy! I <3 my Oakley!
I initially bought these at REI for full price and then returned them because I found them at outdoor.com for almost half price. I love these goggles. They fit beautifully, don't fog up, and look great. I've always loved Oakley products and would highly recommend these to anyone.
