Which sunglass looks like it just landed on planet earth from outer space and provides the unmatched clarity of XYZ Optics? That would be the Oakley Women's Riddle. Don't be puzzled by the single continuous Plutonite lens mounted in the lightweight O Matter frame. The answer lies in the improved peripheral vision you'll enjoy while wearing the Riddle. These shades meet ANSI standards for impact resistance and filter out all UVA, UVB, and blue light.
Bottom Line: It's no mystery: the Oakley Riddle is the answer.
The Riddle frames will turn heads for certain... happens to me all the time. They provide total coverage, which I love. I sail & love the polarized lens! Highly recommend for everday use & especially water sports.
When you do a search for oakley riddle on your page, it gives you two options, one of them being the pink suede pair for $84.50, or something like that, but when you click on it the link takes you to the regular $130. If you click on the other option, it still takes you to the sale price. I'm confused of whether or not the pink suede are on sale, hehe. Thanks so much!
These are great shades. I have a wide face and they fit perfect. I also don't have super long eyelashes otherwise they might hit the lens. Very rarely they fog up but that is probably the cost for having comfortable yet cozy shades. The lens isn't too dark either, so I can wear them when it is overcast. Your biggest decision should be what color to get. It was really hard for me. I almost bought two pairs.
I love these sunglasses. They are really light and not too big. I often forget I have them on. My only complaint is that they didn't come with a hard case. You have to search for one that will fit.
Hey Jennifer,My wife has that same problem. It's a good problem to have if you think of the alternative as having very short or no eye lashes. She will slide her glasses just a tiny bit down her nose. She ended up using spy's for a while but had the same problem. Now she's wearing Maui Jim's and the problem is solved.Hope that helps.
These shades are sweet. I got them for driving and tooling around town, but I wear them for the bike commute, too. The lenses are huge; sometimes I forget I'm wearing them 'cause I can't see the rims or where the lenses end! You guys shipped them in great time, too. Thanks.
Can you see your eyes through the lens? I don't like it when I can see my eyes and since I can't try them on I was wondering if anyone knew.... I'm looking at the pink and black pair if that helps.
If the lens has an iridium coating, then it has a reflective finish that makes them "mirrored" (can't see the eyes). If it is not iridium, then your eyes can be seen.
I bought these sunglasses a few months ago, and I got the polarized version which is only 80 dollars more. Man, they are the sweetest sunglasses that I've ever owned. I can't really say anything bad about these sunglasses other than that if you wear them for too long while driving you might feel a little irritated around the ear area. I wore these sunglasses for 6 hours while driving one time and it got a bit irritating. Overall rating is that they are the nicest sunglasses out there.
I must say I was impressed with the price, delivery, and total satisfaction. My daughter knew exactly what she wanted and she is thrilled with the product.
The Oakley Riddle on this page (Item #OAK0838) isn't polarized. Just look under Tech Specs on the right side of the page. Backcountry.com does have women's version in stock that is polarized: Item #OAK0837. Or, simply type "Oakley Riddle" into the search box.
Just bought these for my wife and she loves them. They feel solid, look stellar and well, they're Oakley's so they're just plain sick. If you've never owned a pair of Oakley's do yourself a favour get 'em 'cause optically there's nothing better.
So, they're sexy but I don't know about practical. I wanted some huge lenses to shield my eyes while road cycling. The plastic is stiff and uncomfortable. They pinch the sides of my head and there is no cushion on the nose piece so the bridge of my nose hurt. They also tend to push upward on my eyebrows and come in close to my eyelashes, no matter how many times I re-adjusted them. I didn't even try them on a ride because just wearing them for a few hours while driving, was no good. I also thought they would curve around my face in a nice line but they have a cut corner at then edge of the lens where the earpieces are. So, if you want style and sexy but not comfort or practicality, go for it!
