In their never-ending quest to fuse high-quality optics with state-of-the-art technology, Oakley created the revolutionary RAZRWIRE sunglasses. These shades combine Oakley's patented distortion-free XYZ Optics with Motorola wireless Bluetooth technology. You need a Bluetooth Handsfree- or Headset-compatible cell phone to make this work. Once dialed in, answer your phone from the RAZRWIRE, and if your phone supports Dial By Voice, place outgoing calls through the RAZRWIRE all without ever touching your phone. The Bluetooth module moves to either side of the frame, and the speaker easily adjusts. Since the RAZRWIRE works up to 33ft away from your phone, you can simultaneously pack the car on a powder day while making arrangements with your riding posse without juggling your gear around your phone. A lithium-ion polymer battery minimizes weight while providing 4-6 hours of continuous talk time. Standby time is up to 100 hours. Recharging is simple and fast with the included Wall Charger. A quick charge provides 80% capacity, and a full charge takes only 2.5 hours. As for the sunglasses, the lightweight RAZRWIRE frame is made of O-Luminum, an alloy 40% lighter than titanium. Optically pure Plutonite lenses improve impact protection while filtering out 100% of all UV. Custom-engineered spring hinges and soft Unobtainium nose and arm pads offer a secure, adaptable fit.
Great sunglasses and very good bluetooth. The glasses and bluetooth met my expectations. The bluetooth works great with my Blackberry and the sunglasses look great. Great value buying from this site. Much cheaper than buying in the stores!
Chare your bluetooth speaker unit for 2.5 hours...check your phone instruction booklet for bluetooth tips, then to pair the phone to the device, go into your phones bluetooth options, and select "search for devices." After that, press and hold the button closest to the speaker for several seconds, until you hear a high-pitched tone. Once you hear the high pitch, your device should have connected to your phone, and you can proceed with making calls. The button you pressed was a multi function button. The other buttons are for volume. I would suggest contact oakley, and see if they have any tips for the device. Also, contact your phone company to see if they can help. Take care!-WB
I have used these things pretty much daily, mostly driving tour coaches in Alaska. I swear life is a bit more pretty with these things on, the lenses are amazing! Construction wise these things feel pretty sturdy, beefy frame, good hinges. Definitely recommended these! I have a medium fit face, and these are perfect!
Send them back to Oakley. I think it now cost $50.00 and they will either fix or send you a brand new pair. I have been doing it for years and I always get a new pair, though mine get pretty beat up. If they don't have that style anymore, they will send you what ever they have that is close to it, so you end up getting an up to date pair of glasses. I can't remember the number right off, though I'm sure your can find the number to Oakley service center easy enough. $50.00 sure beats $150.00. Hope this helps.Dan
