Oakley Nanowire 2.0 Sunglasses - Polarized

The Oakley Nanowire 2.0 Sunglasses feature featherweight titanium alloy wire frames and Unobtanium rubber earpieces that comfortably hug the contours your head. These polarized sunglasses offer a fit for medium to large face sizes. While you're out on the road, the Nanowire's lenses give you the quality distortion-free and glare-destroying polarized optics you'd expect from a genuine Oakley product. The Nanowire frame features memory metal technology, which means the super bendy metal adjusts automatically to comfortably fit your face—it returns to how it's original form when you take these shades off. To keep your sunglasses in pristine condition, Oakley applied a permanent hydrophobic coating so the lens surface repels water, oil, and dust, thus giving you clear vision.

Bottom Line: The Oakley Nanowire 2.0 Sunglasses—so comfortable you'll swear they were custom built for your face.

Didn't Hold Up At All

By:
November 6, 2009

I've had these sunglasses for a 4-6 weeks and they have fallen apart. I've had Oakleys before and they have held up for several years. I must have bought a lemon! These weren't even sat on or stepped on (yet) and they just collapsed. Oakley is excellent about fixing their products but this seemed to happen too soon to warrant a repair. I'm hoping Backcountry will fully refund my money or send me a new unjinxed pair. Will let you know what happens...

If you send it back to Backcountry, they WILL replace it. I've had these glasses for over 2 years, and they have held up great. A few scratches on the lens (high wind knocked off on a hike) but still great. Awesome for driving and working on snow. You must have gotten the runt of the litter, BC should pay for your shipping...IMO

Where do I send the glasses if I need to have them fixed? I bought

Where do I send the glasses if I need to have them fixed? I bought the nano wire sunglasses and look great but they are brittle. The screw where the frame meets the lenses broke and I just need to know where to take or send them to get fixed? Thanks,

Must Have!

By:

I've had 2 pairs of this model, I liked them so much that after the first ones were stolen for me I immediately order the same ones. They are light, sleek, resistant, look great and the most important: Polarized, believe it or not, it makes the difference. A bit expensive but it worth it. I had 3 pairs of 3.0 Nanowire and they were all defective, so, I would go with these ones if you are looking for nanowires.

Great Sunglasses

Got these sunglasses a few months ago. Let me just say they were everything I had hoped they would be. The polarization does an amazing job of blocking glare and improving image quality. Plus, they look fantastic too.
