Oakley Crash Jacket - Men's - 2007

The Oakley Men's Crash Jacket includes a media pocket to hold your iPod, a goggle pocket to hold your A-Frames, and even magnets to keep your hood from flapping in the wind. On a warm day, open the chest vents to keep yourself cool. When temps start to plummet and the snow starts to fly, seal yourself in the Crash Jacket with Oakley's stretch powder skirt and Lycra wrist gaiters.

Bottom Line: Whatever the weather, the Oakley Crash Jacket includes the features to keep you comfortable.

Hey man, the jacket is definitely insulated throughout the entire jacket. I believe a 100g of Primaloft insulation. I have it, and when skiing 20 degree weather over here in Tahoe, I never have to wear more than a Patagonia Cap 2 and I am way warm. Let me know if you have any other questions about it. And yes, it runs BIG, but in a good way. Peace.

i'm not sure of the waterproofing but it holds up well in the wet NW snow. chest vents dont do a whole lot but zipping down the jacket the old fashion way works just fine. sizing does run a little large but being 6' 4'' the xl is nice and roomy. if you dont like a roomy feel go a size down

...kinda bummed

In the "Tech Specs" description of this jacket it says there is no insulation, which is what I wanted. There is actually a pretty good insulating layer inside. If you just want a thin shell like me, then this jacket won't be for you. Other than being misled... it is a very nice jacket. I'm 6'5" and normally wear xxl in oakley, but with this being baggy fit, xl fit me just right. (As everyone else has already stated.)
