Oakley Betray Sunglasses - Women's

Stay true to yourself with the bold design and bad-ass curves of the Oakley Women's Betray Sunglasses. Shapely stems exude seductive charisma, and a progressive lens frame confidently entices attention. Plutonite lenses protect your bewitching eyes from UV glare, while attracting glares from all others; and, thanks to Oakley's High Definition Optics, you'll clearly see every admirer.

Bottom Line: It must be hard being that sexy.

Do you carry the Oakley Betray Asian Fit?

Do you carry the Oakley Betray Asian Fit?

I don't think backcountry.com carries the Asian fit. Zappos.com does though. I am Asian myself and tried on the betray (non Asian-fit) at a local mall, then purchased the Asian fit on Zappos.com -- honestly, both fit my face very well. I think this is because the lenses of the betray are somewhat smaller than, for example, the Belong and Behave. I returned my Asian Fit Betray because the black gradient made me dizzy as I turned my head -- I'm waiting for them to go on sale at Backcountry to get the non Asian fit ones.

the most awesome shades

By:

I love these shades. I never thought I'd pay so much for sunglasses, but I couldn't take these off my face. The lenses are smaller than every other Oakley women street-style shades except for the Disobey (as of summer 2008), so I didn't have the way-too-big-lens problem. I have the Polished Black/Grey pair and I personally think these sunglasses have a combination of a rich b*tch and bad ass look. Being Oakleys, the lenses are really clear and have safety-lens ratings. I'd definitely recommend at least trying these on a local mall if you can.

Understated Glam - It's the Small Things that Count

These shades are so slick. Oakley's attention to detail doesn't fail on this cool accessory either. It isn't obvious in any of the photos, but there is etched metal with an intricate swirly design both on the side where the frame folds and on the end of the tip. You can kind of see both accents in the Cork/Bronze side view (2nd Detailed View above). That, plus the shape of the plastic around the actual eye piece enlarge the look without making the lenses themselves be too big so the result is just seriously understated glamour. I got the polished black/grey version so it turns out that the plastic is shiny deep black and the accents are brushed metal (more or less) that is dark purple leaning towards maroon - I don't know how to describe it exactly. Not a color I typically associate with and I wasn't expecting it (i.e. probably would have hestitated before ordering), but it turned out to be a nice surprise. I wore them on vacation in Mexico for a week by a tropical pool/lush beach and, coupled with my bikini, felt perfectly dressed. My face is heart-shaped and I shy away from frames made for smaller faces so I am not sure how these would look on peeps with a different structure.

I wish these would have worked, as they are slick. But just too big for my small face. I'll have to stick with my minutes!
