Northwave Bike Kameleon 3 Cycling Shoe - Men's - 2007

If you need a high-end, three-strap XC shoe that'll put some power to your pedals, but your wallet can't suffer another stroke, the Northwave Kameleon 3 MTB Shoe could be your answer. Northwave gave the Kameleon 3's aggressive Jaws Zytel outsole a carbon injection to increase stiffness, and punched holes throughout the synthetic leather upper to give cranking feet plenty air. The triple instep strap system and friction lining say “balls!” to power-robbing heel slip, and removable mud cleats give you a definite edge in the wrestling ring.

Bottom Line: Northwave's Kameleon 3 is a cold, efficient trail killer.

45=11

Got these for my husband and ordered up. The 45 fit him like an 11 which is his normal size. He loves the way they fit and the comfort on the trail.

They feel true to size. I wear 11 1/2 street shoe, and 45 Northwave road shoes. Just got a pair of these, but I expect they fit the same.

According to sizing chart, my men's size 12 foot is a 45. Not even close. Wound up with Sidi 5.0 in 47. Much more $, but fantastic shoes.

These shoes go with clipless pedals, Crank Brothers or Shimano's SPD are the two best options.I personally prefer Crank Brothers pedals, they have better float, easier entry, better built, and are a heck of a lot more stylish than SPD. The Candy-C is a freaking awesome set at a budget price, and you won't look like some cheap-skate tightwad:http://www.backcountry.com/store/CRN0010/Crank-Brothers-Candy-C-Pedals.html

Awesome Shoes!!!!

By:

I wear a size 11 so I ordered a size 45. The box says 45 and USA size 12. I started to question the size before trying the shoes on. Once I tried the shoes on, they fit perfectly. I totally love these shoes. They are very light with the carbon soles. I bought mine through ChainLove.com at a very good price.

Size 45.5 is US 12

By:
July 30, 2008

I just got my shoes and confirm the sizing runs small. I bought a 45.5, which the box label says is US 12.5, and I couldn't wear anything smaller, although my shoe size has been a US 12 for decades. Got mine off chainlove.com at a huge discount, can't imagine anything better for the money.
