Nixon watches look awseome, but this is the second Rocker I have had and they both have died prematurely with no explanation. Same thing happened to The Producer I had. The Jeweler said that both had suffered bent gears when the battery died, and explained that it was a manufacturing flaw. Same thing with the producer.

I'll take his word for it and not order Nixon for awhile.

I got this watch for my boyfriend who hates jewelry and any clothing with the exception of sweatshirts. This watch is a hot watch for someone who's laid back and comfortable like him as well as guys that get a little more dressed to go out. It's a popular brand watch and I couldn't find it new anywhere cheaper than this! They wrapped it and had it delivered in a matter of days! Not only is the watch awesome but so is the service!

I love the rocker watch. It goes along with all my clothes. I can only say two things about the watch that bum me out a little.

1.) Not water proof - I have to take it off every day before I take a shower, and the croc leather is getting worn down faster than it should be because of the putting on and taking off aspect of it.

2.) The Strap is too small - I have small wrists for a guy, and this strap isnt too small for me, but It would be for somone with bigger wrists than me. I have mine set to the third hole up on the band.

Got the watch for hubby's b-day. Was worried the band would not be comfy for him but he LOVES it and wears it every day! Would also like to comment that the service at Backcountry is PHENOMENAL! This was my 2nd order with them and have been extremely happy!

This is my 3rd Nixon and I absolutely love the brand and customer service/support. So, I was pumped when The Rocker arrived. I was looking for a casual watch that I could wear all of the time. I quickly noticed that it is not waterproof, which completely suprised me. No fault on the part of Nixon though, it is clearly stated on the website that this is purely a style watch. I should pay more attention in the future. But, this is not my main complaint. The first night I had it on my wrist, I was showing it off and bragging on the brand. My cousin asked me for a closer look, so I started to remove it when the clasp broke and I all I saw was my watch fly across the room.....and the pittering sounds of metal dancing across the floor was the only thing that shattered my silence.. All my cousin could muster was, "man I am going to get one of those." Anyway, no big deal, I am certain Nixon will hook me up. This might have just been a QA issue that was overlooked.

I purchased the silver Nixon Rocker watch with the black leather band. Exactly what I wanted and what I expected. Fits great and is probably the most comfortable watch I've ever worn. It's my first Nixon watch but I'm now a Nixon fan. Rock on...

If you like the classic look of the thick leather band,.. well then it doesn't get much better. I love this bad boy.

Great watch for the price. I definitely like it, and would recommend buying it. I have other Nixon watches I do like more.

When I'm not hitting the backcountry I sport the Nixon Rocker. I love the big leatherband for wrist support when I'm driving my mouse. If you want the coolest watch out there get this one at a great price.

I really like the watch that I bought from BackcountryStore.com. I saw the Nixon Rocker watch in some other catalogs but those catalogs didn't have a choice of colors! That's a few points in favor of BackcountryStore! The watch works perfectly so far, keeps time like a drummer, and also has today's date on it. My only beef is that it's not as "rocker" as I originally thought. The review says "metal studs on the wristband." I figured there would be lots of those, but there are only two studs on the wristband. Still, it's a very fashionable watch to buy if you like big, fat leather straps, and it probably won't fall apart any time soon. The watch strap is built like a tank, it just doesn't look like I expected. Also, the price is comparable to what I found in the catalogs, but BackcountryStore.com offered free shipping, so I really like this website! Thanks for providing a nice place to shop online.

All I have to say is that my husband was so psyched about the watch!!! It made me feel that I made a great choice with the Rocker watch. He loves it so much that he can't stop wearing it, although he has plenty other watches.

Nice watch, but be careful if you have a big wrist...The watch band is sort of cut small.

I've had my Rocker for over a year now and I only take it off when I shower. It's always on my hand, it's so comfy and super stylish. The only problem is that with all the snowboarding I do I sweat a lot. The band can get very stinky and the leather wears pretty fast. But I would only buy a Nixon watch.

This watch rules! There is simply no other way to say it. Once the band is worked to fit your wrist it is comfortable and sometimes I don't even know I have it on.

This watch awesome. I love mine, it's the all black on black leather and I get compliments on it all the time. If you have big wrists I wouldn't recommend this watch tho.

dig the watch. it's comfortable and a different look. i bought the brown, and on my monitor it looked like it came with a black face, but it's actually brown. not the end of the world...but if that's important to you then don't get fooled like i did.

This watch is bad as in good. I wear it at work where I sit at a computer all day. I moved it from my left wrist to my right wrist to give me some support when I'm moving the mouse. It actually gives my wrist support and it feels better. I love this watch it's super cool and a great price. It rocks!
