Top Style but poor watch movement

I've had lots of compliments on my Esquire CS and, you gotta admit, it's a fine looking watch. However, there appears to be a small problem with the month mechanism as it doesn't auto advance like the date hand. A friend who also has the same watch found the same problem on his watch. Consulting Nixon Customer Service, this is apparently correct and the month must be updated manually. So, "A+" for style, but a "C" for the watch movement.

This watch definitely makes an impression. I have gotten many compliments on the style of this watch. Very unique watch and the leather is surprisingly soft. Top notch for the money.
