Ninthward Compte Pro Model Ski - 2007

Whether you're headed out for a late night urban session or a spin through the terrain park, the Ninthward Compte Pro Model hangs tough with its poplar wood core and easy-spinning shape. Mike Deschenaux designed this killer park weapon for big air in the pipe, a forgiving buttery flavor in the park, and tough-as-shit edges for urban assaults. The Compte Pro Model Ski's lively tri-laminated poplar core retains its smooth flex longer than it takes to finish a gobstopper, and the ABS sidewalls mean less tanks and easier spins.

Bottom Line: Ninthward's Comte Pro Model Ski likes to play rough in the park.

Alright so I rode these skis for one season and they are retired. Don't get me wrong the le compte is a fun ski, very poppy and great for park riding which here in NJ is all there is. But if your looking for a durable ski this is not the ski you want. It started delaming the top sheet in about two days which is no big deal really but about 50% of it was gone by the end of the season. About 2 months into the season my edges underneath the bindings starting going and the sidewalls started to bow out. Finally toward the end of the season the sidewalls cracked and fell out under the bindings of both skis and with that the edges went to. I am a somewhat aggressive rider but not all that crazy and I probably went 40 to 50 days up to the mountain this past season. Fun ski but plan on buying a new pair at the end of the season.
