Nikwax Polar Proof Solution

Nikwax Polarproof adds durable water repellency (DWR) to fleece and insulated garments. Nikwax Polarproof adds surface water-repellency which reduces water-absorption, minimizes weight gains, and maintains insulating properties. Nikwax Polarproof lasts several washings and does not need to be reapplied after every wash like other treatments. Even though synthetic insulating fibers naturally absorb little moisture they can hold substantial liquid within the structure of the knit or weave. This significantly reduces the thermal insulating qualities of the garment. How many garments does one bottle treat?

You will get a fair amount of use out of this bottle I bought some last year and have done at least two jackets and two pants still have over 1/2 bottle.I get four good washes out of one bottle.

This stuff is great. I used it on my marmot warmlight jacket. It's fantastic to see water bead off a fleece jacket. It doesn't bead as much as other nikwax products but you can't expect it on a fleece jacket. And it makes the ol' fleece dry a heck of a lot faster.
