A breathable mesh insert, and 100 hour timer/chronograph with 1/100 second resolution set the New Balance Vent Max Sport Watch apart from the competition. The Vent Max Sport Watch's mesh insert on the strap allows sweat to evaporate off your wrist for increased comfort on long runs. New Balance listened to feedback from adventure-racing athletes and included a 100-hour timer and chronograph, key features for ultra-races or summit pushes in excess of 24 hours. Time/Day/Date display, a training log with best and average lap times, 9 interval timers, 3 independent timers, a backlit display, a user replaceable battery, and water resistance to 50m complete this feature-packed sport watch.
Bottom Line: Time your new PR with New Balance's Vent Max Sport Watch.
Hi, does this watch have a countdown timer that I (novice runner) can use to countdown my training program: i.e. a set number of repetitions of (for example) 10 minutes running followed 1 min brisk walk (recovery)? If not, do you know of any watch that has this kind of facility?
This watch has got it, 3 different set-ups for your training, you might have to sit down to read the configuration though. And its out of stock forever
I like the functions of the watch but did have to break down and read the instructions for some of the features. It's not always so intuitive. Sadly, I saw the same watch with a different logo two weeks later for $35. Shop around if you must have this one...
Yeah, pretty much highgear made the same watch, and I love it, but the price being more here disappoints me to know NB made a stupid knock off rather than something original. Those jerks...
I have had this watch over a year now and I wear it fulltime. The display is large and simple. I use the chrono function to time my runs and again with a large display it is easy to look down and check your time. It has been a great watch for the price. It fits very ergonomically on my wrist and I love the turn key cover on the back so I can easily replace a battery. Overall is has been a cheap rugged watch, a lot cheaper than highgear.. I am all about the price!
