Nathan Zone 2.0 Hydration Pack - 2007

Nathan's Zone 2.0 Hydration Pack takes its runs seriously. This 8-liter pack stows a 2-liter hydration bladder, a just-in-case rain shell, running fuel—all on an agile, run-ready vest design. Load the Zone 2.0 up with all your gear, start your watch, and put your training to the test. The three-way Propulsion harness hugs your back comfortably and solidly, while the Air Scoop back panel and honeycomb mesh work together to keep back sweat to a minimum. Store your maps, energy gel, or communication devices in the PowerStretch shoulder strap pockets for easy, on-the-go access.

Bottom Line: For those with a vested interest in their running workouts.

Killer fit

This pack fits great and snug. Some Hydration packs don't mold to the body like this one. The hydration bladder fills from the inside like no other and is super convenient, much better than the top fill process. Just enough pockets to carry what you need too. Simple and efficient, not to mention, it's made bombproof, and won't deteriorate over time.

Listen to Karl.

This is one of the Nathan Packs that Karl used on the Appalachian Trail during his speed record attempt this fall. I borrowed our friend Billy's Zone 2.0 on the days I accompanied Karl on the trail and I am not exaggerating when I say that I absolutely fell in love. L-O-V-E. I've always used Camelbak, but after running with Nathan, I'm a convert. The reservoir is marked in ounces, so you can gauge how much water you take with you for a set distance; the fit is snug so you don't get chaffed; and the pockets and bungees are thoughtfully placed. It's good.
