Nalgene Wide Mouth Water Bottle - 32oz - 2007

You’ve seen the Nalgene Wide Mouth Water Bottle from the backcountry to the boardroom and for good reason. This polycarbonate water bottle gives you leakproof liquid storage for everything from a day at the office to a two-week backpacking trip. The durable plastic loop cap stays on the bottle so you can’t lose it, and the wide-mouth opening fits most water purifiers and filters for easy hydration in the mountains. The near-crushproof polycarbonate plastic lasts for years, and eliminates the need for wasteful bottled water or disposable cups.

Bottom Line: Reusable, durable, and leakproof. What else do you need?

Nalgene Lexan Wide Mouth Water Bottle - 32oz

By:
June 13, 2008

What's there to say, the only thing is awesome. I have about a dozen of these and use them for everything, bait, storage, water, and great for a cocktail in the woods or in your front yard. I haven't found many other products out there that can withstand the abuse these can take. Recommended!

These bottles are not BPA-free. They are the original polycarbonate bottles, and thus they are not BPA free. Here's a good chart from Nalgene to compare their bottles: http://www.nalgenechoice.com/compare.htmlHere is a link to the Nalgene Tritan Wide Mouth 32 ounce Nalgene BPA Free bottle: http://www.backcountry.com/store/EQU0024/Nalgene-Tritan-Wide-Mouth-BPA-Free-Bottle-32oz.htmlHere is one for the Nalgene HDPE Wide Mouth BPA Free Bottle: http://www.backcountry.com/store/EQU0031/Nalgene-HDPE-Wide-Mouth-BPA-Free-Bottle.htmlHere is a link to other BPA-Free bottles from Nalgene: http://search.backcountry.com/?b=Nalgene&i=1&q=BPA&u1=q&u2=b&x=0&y=0

the boy who cried wolf?

i still use my nalgene. the non-bpa free ones. we have been scared beyond belief about this stuff. my boyfiend has a degree in plastics engineering and was dumbfounded by this bpa-free craze. maybe if you drank liquid hot magma every single day of your life, i mean literal magma from a volcano, then you might have a problem. don't be afraid, it's not going to kill you.

Always Perfect

By:
June 9, 2008

I've always loved these things, I had one a few years ago and ended up putting some angel hair pasta with a heavy marinara sauce in it for lunch. Well... my loose minded self forgot about it after it was half finished and thrown in the trunk of my car for... ohhh at least 2 months. I considered throwing it away, but why would you throw an item like this out? I threw the thing in my dishwasher after a quick rinse while holding my breath, and the thing came out perfect. No taste of who-knows-what was in there. Well, i turned that bottle into my work bottle, (golf course work, throwing it in and out of the truck, dropping it on cart paths countless times) and purchased a new one to keep a little nicer. So now I have a tent stake hammer/water bottle, and a beautiful emerald green stylish bottle. Please, treat yourself to the worlds greatest, extra green, water bottle.

Tough Water Bottles

By:

Honestly, I bought this bottle as an add on to an order in order to take advantage of the free shipping offer at the time. It all worked out for the best I love this bottle, it takes a beating plus it looks cool and holds plenty of water. Im actually about to buy another for my wife.

Oh by the way the shipping for this site is amazingly fast...

Probably one of the best things I've ever had

By:

I can't say enough about how awesome Nalgene bottles are. I have seven of them. I use them pretty much every day. Throw them in my backpack and go. Whether it's at school, on the trail, at work, at home, working out, I pretty much always have at least one Nalgene with me. I took three to Iraq and Afghanistan with me (I was a Marine), because issued canteens suck, and I always have problems with camelbacks leaking/breaking/generally sucking. I've boiled water, used them as weights on the end of rope to get it over a tree limb, to hammer tent stakes, I use one to carry my first aid/emergency kit, used them to make field koolaid (no left over taste!), dropped them off cliffs, used one as an improvised football, and even used one as a field expedient weapon in close quarters combat. Bottom line: a Nalgene can save your life.

Nice bottles!

I like these bottles because they're shatter resistant. They also look so stylish and you don't have to worry about dents and other stuff leaking on you. I found that these are a bit too big around for the bottle pocket on my new packs, so that's a bummer.
