NRS Kayak Pro Compact Rescue Throw Bag

The NRS Kayak Polypro Rescue Bag keeps 70 feet of floating polypro line clipped to your kayak at all times, so you have it close at hand when someone has to wet exit. The bright yellow line is easily seen in the water and flying through the air when you toss it to your friend. A reinforced loop on both ends of the NRS Kayak Polypro Rescue Bag gives you a solid grip when the line comes tight and you have to reel in your pal.

Bottom Line: Clip the NRS Kayak Polypro Rescue Bag to your boat to ensure you never find yourself without a life line.

Solid Construction

I use this bag on my little Pack cat on rivers down in Mexico. It certainly has seen it fair share of abuse, getting drug on travertine dams and through pokey plants on portage. The bag is soild construction and has lasted much longer than my last rope. Certainly spend some time tossing this bag around the park before hitting the water with it. I also agree with Kelly and jreeder, it's all about the stuff to get the distance.

Durable Rescue Bag and rope.

Again to shadow Kelly, be sure you stuff the rope into the bag correctly, this will make all the difference in the world for distance. One thing to keep in mind when you have a throw rope on board, always make sure you have a river knife for when you get in those tricky situations and need to cut your rope! So far my throw bag has had over 150 days on the river and other than fading still going super strong!

A must have for all boaters

If you stuff this rope correctly before you throw it, it's easy to get great distance and accuracy. If you stuff it wrong, it will get tangled-- but that's not the rope's fault.
These things last forever, too. I definitely wouldn't go boating without one.

Well it may appear to last forever, but the reality is that the rope loses about 10% strength a year (under good conditions). If you have standard poly rope, you should consider a new one every few years.
