A Must Have

I sun burn easy, and tend to be cold natured. This shirt does the trick all year round when I am kayaking. In summer it protects me from the sun, in winter it is a good base layer, and year round it prevents rashes. Mine has help up well over two years of use. It fits snug, but true to size.

In my opinion, they are very true to size. Obviously they are going to be tight but the size I bought is the same size I wear in a t-shirt and it fits fine without any restriction. It resembles thicker Under Armour top but not quite as snug.

While a true rash guard is for surfing, I use mine for kayaking and whitewater rafting and I love it. It has UV protection, it dries quickly, it provides a layer of insulation, and it protects against minor scrapes and bumpgs. In warmer weather, you can wear it because it dries quickly yet provides UV protection. In cooler weather, you can wear it because it dries quickly yet provides an insulating layer. The sizes seem true to form and while it is tight and form-fitting, it is not restricting at all. It seems a lot more durable than a run-of-the-mill surfer brand rash guard.
