Does the sole is hard enough, can I walk on river stones without any complain?

Alonso,There is a "2mm mid-sole shim protects your feet from sharp rocks." These are designed to be used walking to, in, and around water. These will work for walking on river stones, which are going to be smooth and flat. On top of the mid sole you 7mm of padding that will provide additional comfort.Mahalo, Sumo

Got these for my dad and he loves them. He has some of the widest feet around and he can slip into them easily with the zipper and cinch them up nicely with the strap. Good support in rocky terrain without any slipping. These shoes kept him warm even in February in northern Utah's chilly water.

I've been using these shoes for whitewater kayaking and they do the job. They hold water and can make my feet wrinkled, but that's what you can expect from neoprene booties. My feet definitely don't every get cold in them.

They'll certainly help, but your feet will still be wet. If you're in a kayak, they'll be much warmer than in a raft, where the cold water is refreshed every few seconds.

The sizes are US mens. Women should order one size down. An EU 39 = a mens US 6.5 so you probably should order a mens 6.
