NRS 1.5in Heavy-Duty Strap

Your kayak is not exactly a lightweight. Or perhaps you’re planning on a long trip and want to go with wide straps for maximum boat-hold. Grab the NRS 1.5in Heavy-Duty Straps. NRS manufactured these polypropylene straps to a tensile strength of 1500lb (tensile strength is the stress at which material breaks) and coated them with UV protectant. Two center-mounted stainless steel springs in the buckles apply pressure evenly across the width of the strap for a secure hold.

Bottom Line: For serious tie-down action.

I've been using these straps to tie down my kayak for a few years now and they've held up great. Nothing too special about these, but they get the job done.

Your basic straps. Not much too them, but the last forever! I only wish they had more of a ratchet system.
