Zip into the Norrona Men's Narvik Fleece Jacket for toasty warmth, breathability, and clean Scandinavian style. Based in Norway, Norrona knows cold Nordic weather. Their Narvik heavyweight fleece has a clean, simple design that works as a layer, or worn alone to fight off chill. This unique fleece's dense, short hair pile adds durability and warmth with a thick sherpa look. Although super warm, the Narvick fleece is also breathable to wick sweat when you are skiing down to the fjords.

Bottom Line: Get Euro-style and warmth when you wear the Norrona Narvik Fleece.
Got the chance to really try it out in the Adirondacks on a snow shoe trek to the Five Ponds Wilderness area. It was worn over a base layer of Icebreaker merino wool and under an eVent hardshell and it performed excellent. Actually, the combo of all three let sweat escape quite adequately as to not over perspire. The fit is definitely sized for those in shape and not sporting a bulging gut. The zip-up collar was loose enough for me to allow side movement of the head without friction which is what I like. Overall satisfied. It's nice to see well made imports like this available in the US.
If you're looking for an athletic cut fleece that can be worn both as an outer layer, this is a great pick. I've worn this fleece as an outer layer on several hikes and snowshoes...definitely no bulk, but plenty of warmth and a functional hood. I tend not to wear hoodies as under layers, so I've not tried it there. I also like the euro color (got it in green)...have enough black, grey, and dulls in the lineup, so was happy to see something different. Have definitely become a Noronna fan and now own a few pieces. Top quality and attention to detail.
I've been wearing this fleece almost non-stop since I bought it. Very warm, and the thumb holes are fun. The collar comes up above my chin when fully zipped though. I like it, but it is something to think about when buying.
Just doesn't fit me. Very long arms and a very snug chest (for reference Patagonia cloths are cut athletically well for me). Other than that nicely made an nicely detailed. Good stuff.
Best jumper I've ever owned. The fleece is extremely thick and much softer than any of the North Face fleeces I own. The athletic cut means it fits snug and the high zipped collar protects against wind. It has all the bells and whistles you'd expect like draw cords, chin zip protector; and really cool cuffs. Norrona is a great brand, I only wish this site had more of their stock for sale.
