On the eve of the Apocalypse, those destined to survive will be clad in the Norrøna Men's Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro Shell One-Piece Suit. In the meantime, the Lofoten One-Piece reigns as the most sicktastic powder suit on the planet, and in fact it's the only Gore-Tex Pro Shell one-piece that we know of. Sure, it's pricey, but so are unicorns and diamonds, and neither of them are guaranteed to keep you dry when it's been puking inches per hour for days on end. Norrøna could have rested on their laurels with that alone, but they chose to give the Lofoten One-Piece plenty of storage pockets, bulletproof Aramid fiber reinforcements, an insane color palette and a baggy fit that oozes pure, uncut steeze. *When we say baggy, we mean baggy, so size down if you want a trimmer fit.

Bottom Line: The Lofoten One-Piece has no equal on earth—we're waiting to hear from the rest of the universe.
no question about the construction - bomber. the "wild rasberry" color description doesn't accurately portray the hot pinkness. it's way bright so be prepared to blind others (temporarily).
This suit looks funny, but it works great. I chose the flame color, and I guess I would have gotten it in something a bit less wild if they had it, but they don't and it doesn't matter. The sizing is large, and it's a bit baggy in places, but the T1s keep the cuffs in place, and the powder guards on the sleeves are comfortable and tight. I've had one good faceplant in mid-thigh powder and nothing got past the face. I feel really comfortable and suspect I'll love this extravagance for a long time.
Why does this fantastically obnoxious 1-piece only come in Clydesdale sizes?!? It is my life-long aspiration to wear the absolute loudest, sicktastickest outfit on the hill. The pink version matches my skis and helmet perfectly. Alas, I will have to wait until this comes in girly sizes, if ever... Boo-hoo!!!
If you are reading this review you have already self selected into a the group of people that don't care what other people think. The Norrona one piece is bold, loud, and built like a tank. When my one piece arrived to the office it was amazing to watch peoples reaction. Folks either love it or hate. Being in the middle of love it or hate it fine for North Face customers I prefer the fringe. I am 6' tall and the medium fit me perfectly. This construction and design are Arcteryx quality minus the Canadian styling.
...if only I could afford it. This may be the single coolest piece of outerwear I've seen this year. Leave it up to the Norwegians to slay it in an area where style previously just didnt exist...and to do it all AND push the standards of tech. I'm droolin.
