Mountainsmith Tracker 30 Backpack - 1800cu in - 2007

Mountainsmith may have designed the Tracker Backpack specifically for the snowshoeing enthusiast, but we think it'll do just fine for backcountry tours or long hikes on foot. The Tracker's insulated hydro-sleeve keeps your water in liquid form, its front panel gear loop stashes an ice tool, and vertical snowshoe straps easily hold a snowboard. In the warmer months, an insulated holder gives you access to a water bottle, an 1800cu inch interior holds supplies for a long day on the trail or a lightweight overnighter, and a pocket on the waist-belt keeps your digital camera handy.

Bottom Line: Not just for hiking with funny things on your feet.
