these shorts are super soft, but tough! you can wear them just about anywhere, work or play. the fit is true to size. perfect

I gave these to my husband and they are now his favorite casual shorts. The combo of the super light weight cotton, the splash of lycra, and the gusset make them super comfy, yet they are still truly nice enough for a dinner date. Tough like his other MKs too.

I second JPH; these are great in hot weather. The length is perfect, the bit of stretch is crucial, and the weight is nice and light. I wear them for work, chilling, fly fishing, drinking, hiking, you name it. They are truly the best shorts I have found in a long time. Hey Mountain Khakis...want to go steady?
