Yummo!!!!

This is one of the best deserts in a bag you can get. Although not quite enough for 4 of us. I purchased this with some other Mountain House dishes for test drive purposes before a trip to the Green Mountain in Vermont. Blew us away with the flavor!!!!!

This is by far my favorite desert while camping. I take these with me on regular camping trips not just backpacking. Mountain house is really a great food company and their food is a great treat for those eating trail food for a while. After eating ramen noodles for two months this will seem life you are at a 5 star restaraunt

A Real Dessert!

By:
October 25, 2009

This was a complete hit with our little camp. It prepares very easily and serves plenty, although 3 of us ate all of it. It has a great texture, real berry's and just a great combination of raspberry's and chocolate. We'll use this one again, probably on every trip we do. We may bring an extra just so we don't run out though....it's really that good!

Its always nice to get full for dinner when you are backpacking and you know you are going to be hiking 10 miles the next day. This is a good way to do that. very good. mountain house is the best tasting for me.

Tasty!

Pretty great, lots of chocolate bits. I would have liked if it could have been served hot, but the instructions say cold. The raspberry tastes like premade pie filling, which is pretty awesome in the wilderness.

High Alpine Treats

By: Backcountry.com Employee

This is one of my favorite desserts to bring backpacking, and is worth its 5.2 oz in weight. I did in fact have my crumble after some Mountain House vegetable lasagna, and it is quite a delicious pairing indeed. We added a glass of wine too and that really topped it off. Who said you couldn't live it up when your miles into alpine country? Plus if you only have two people and can't finish it after your meal, the raspberry filling goes great mixed in with your oatmeal the next morning!
